Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007
The stated purpose of the act is “to move the United States toward greater
energy independence and security, to increase the production of clean renewable
fuels, to protect consumers, to increase the efficiency of products, buildings,
and vehicles, to promote research on and deploy greenhouse gas capture and
storage options, and to improve the energy performance of the Federal
Government, and for other purposes."
What does these mean to us (and you)?
This law affect all power supplies manufacturer after July 1, 2008. All power supplies that we manufacture after July 1, 2008 must meet this new
standard, so that power supplies are energy efficient.
That said;
- All PS-1210 and PS-1260 power supplies have always met this
standard.
- PS-1205 or PS-1208 power supplies manufactured after July 1, 2008 will
comply with this standard.
