For Fail-Safe Redundant IRIG Applications

Application of the IRIG Redundant Switch

The LiteLink® RSW-2002 is a two input single output automatic switch designed to implement a redundant, fail-safe IRIG signal transmission. The RSW-2002 may be used with any fiber optic system to implement a redundant, fail-safe video transmission system.

Upon the loss of primary IRIG signal, the RSW-2002 will automatically switch the remaining secondary (backup) IRIG signal to the output as well as activate the front panel alarm indicator and ALM-1000 Alarm Sensing Unit if used. Indicators are provided to continuously indicate the presence of signals in each channel as well as the presence of operating power making system troubleshooting simple
